Movie theaters, including Regal Cinemas, are currently closed due to the pandemic.

While sitting at home in quarantine, you might be thinking about that new movie you’ve been dying to see, but you can’t go and see it because the theaters are closed. You most likely won’t be able to see that movie for a few more months or even this year.

Many new releases have been pushed back due to the current pandemic taking over the world. Movie production costs are not cheap, and box offices will not produce a coverage of production costs.

Here is a list of some of the top movies that have been postponed:

Wonder Woman 1984 – postponed until August 14th, 2020

No Time to Die (James Bond)- postponed until November 25, 2020

Black Widow- undecided date

A Quiet Place Part II- undecided date

F9 (Fast and the Furious) – postponed until April 2, 2021

There are many more movies that have been postponed, but these are some of the top films people have been waiting for. Regal Cinemas has closed all theaters until further notice, as well as other theater chains and film festivals

The pandemic is taking a devastating toll on the economy and how the world runs. For now, we have endless options for streaming services to watch tv and movies, but it won’t be these new releases.
