
INGREDIENTS:
1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
2 cups all-purpose flour
1 ½ teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon salt
1/3 cup of softened butter (5 1/3 Tablespoons)
1 ½ cups white, granulated sugar
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
4 large eggs
½ cup powdered sugar
INSTRUCTIONS:
To make cookies…
Combine dry cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt in a small bowl
In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, sugar, and vanilla until light and fluffy
Add eggs one at a time, making sure to fully incorporate before adding the next
Mix in dry ingredients until combined
Using a cookie scoop or a spoon, scoop rounded balls of dough
Refrigerate dough balls for at least two hours
After dough has chilled…
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
Roll balls of dough in powdered sugar
Place cookies onto a parchment paper lined baking sheet
Bake for 10-15 minutes (depending on size) until spread and crackled
