Description: Being a correctional officer is a way to help others and the community. A correctional officer does more than just supervise those incarcerated. Being an officer allows you to be a role model and educator for those who have struggled in life. You can be part of the rehabilitation process and try to transform criminals into law-abiding citizens. It is also a great entry-level position, with job security and benefits.
