This Friday, Sept. 5, The Delaware Valley football team takes on South Plainfield for Del Val’s second game of the season.
Claim a spot in the stands as kickoff will start the game at 6 p.m. on the Tap Webb Memorial Field. Be sure to dress patriotically as the theme is USA. Del Val will be honoring staff and community veterans before the game.
The Dawg Pound will meet at 5:15 in the student parking lot for paint up.
Tickets will be $3 for students with proof of their student IDs as well as for senior citizens. Adults will be charged $4 per ticket. Be sure to bring additional cash to buy food and drinks at the concession stand.
The All Sports Booster Club will be selling Del Val apparel, which includes sweatshirts, sweatpants, t-shirts and more.
Del Val enters this Friday with a record of 1-0 as they commanded last weekend’s game scoring 27-13 over Metuchen.
South Plainfield also enters this Friday’s game with a record of 1-0 so a win over the Tigers could really pave the way for starting the season with an impressive record.
Spirits are as high as can be as Del Val is expecting plenty of alumni to head back to their roots and watch the Terriers play their hearts out this Friday.
Pack the pound in your USA apparel and watch the Terriers dominate the game once again.
“The team looks great this year. We are excited to take on South Plainfield this Friday,” said Jacob Brocklehurst.
