FAQs

HOW DO I CONTACT THE DELPHI STAFF?

Please send all e-mails to thedelphi@dvrhs.k12.nj.us.

WHAT DOES THE DELPHI COVER?

The Delphi will cover any school-based or community event that would be of interest to the students at Del Val or the members of the community.  This includes public events, new business openings, personal interest stories, or any other ideas that are brought to the staff’s attention.

WHY IS THE DELPHI PUBLISHED DIGITALLY?

In the modern, social media-driven world, and as part of a Future-Ready school, The Delphi has gone digital in order to get the most accurate news out to the community as quickly as possible.

IS THE DELPHI AVAILABLE ON SOCIAL MEDIA PLATFORMS?

Yes!  The Delphi launched its Twitter (@delphinewspaper) and Instagram (delphinewspaper) accounts in May of 2019.  The staff will be taking on a strong social media presence in the 2019-20 school year, bringing you more news from the Del Val community straight to your screens.

CAN I WRITE FOR THE DELPHI IF I’M NOT ENROLLED IN THE JOURNALISM CLASS?

Anyone can write for The Delphi. Students enrolled in the journalism classes make up the heart of the staff, however, any students or staff interested in writing for the newspaper are welcome to submit articles.  Starting in the 2019-20 school year, The Delphi will expand into a unit lunch-based club that will meet once or twice per month, allowing for non-class members to work with the class staff in building a stronger newspaper.
