The Del Val golf team wrapped up the 2025-2026 season with one of the most successful seasons in Del Val golf history.
Under the leadership of head coach David Kirschenmann, who has coached the team for 26 years, the Terriers finished with an impressive 16-3 overall record and a perfect 8-0 record in their division, earning the division championship.
Senior captains Finn Tribus and Ryan Brereton helped lead the team throughout the season, setting the tone with their leadership, work ethic, and commitment to the team.
Their efforts, along with the dedication of the entire roster, contributed to a season filled with accomplishments.
For Kirschenmann, this year’s team reached a milestone unlike any other in his long coaching career.
“This is the most wins that I’ve ever had in my 26 years,” Kirschenmann said.
The team’s success was built on consistency and teamwork. The golfers demonstrated their ability to perform well while supporting one another on and off the course.
Their undefeated division record highlighted the dominance they displayed throughout the season.
Kirschenmann praised the team’s chemistry and determination, noting the qualities that made this group stand out.
“They had a really good year, they did well, they worked hard together, and it was very successful,” he said.
Winning the division title capped off a memorable season and secured the team’s place among the best in recent Del Val golf history.
As the season comes to a close, the players, coaches, and school community can look back with pride on a year defined by hard work and success.
