Alien invaders attacked the Science Showcase with the goal of stealing homemade ice cream from one of the tables. The invaders unexpectedly entered through the Commons’ windows while the annual event was underway.

The invaders proceeded to destroy inventions and rip the Commons into a decimated mess. Luckily, the students in the showcase were prepared.

With an arsenal of plasma cannons, robotic hands and parakeets, they were able to fight off the celestial invaders.

Oliver Melnichenko’s plasma cannon provided heavy support and played a crucial role in defeating the army of aliens.

Unfortunately, the plasma cannon could only fire eight shots before needing to be recharged, so when his cannon needed more charge, students turned to the battery-powered potatoes.

“That battle was honestly pretty easy,” Oliver Melnichenko said. “I carried, and I would definitely do this again.”

On the other ‘hand,’ Kourtney Nolan’s robotic hand could easily maneuver through the battle field and disarm aliens by crawling up their legs and down their arms to steal their weaponry. Nolan controlled the robot with sensors on a glove that she wore on her right hand.

Megan Melnichenko’s parakeet’s agility and small size allowed it to fly through the battlefield with ease. Their task during the battle was to find the power switch within the UFO and turn it off. After sneaking their way onto the ship, they had to pass through multiple armed invaders, the most dangerous job out of anyone in the battle.

Melnichenko and her parakeet found the switch and successfully deactivated the power.

Once the students were able to rush into the ship, the aliens stood no chance.

After a long, grueling battle, the students of the science fair emerged victorious and effectively sent the invaders back to where they came from.
