The Young Artists Showcase is returning to the Hunterdon Art Museum on Saturday, April 25, and will once again be featuring the artwork of Del Val students. This year, 35 works by 31 different students have been selected for the display.

Visual arts teacher Sarah Ruppert appreciates the chance for recognition that the Clinton museum provides student artists.

“This annual exhibition highlights the creativity and dedication of our students, and offers an opportunity to celebrate their achievements in a professional gallery setting,” Ruppert said. “Seeing their work exhibited in a museum is a big moment.”

Works range from photography to sculpture to drawing and will remain on display from April 25 to May 3 on the third floor of the museum. An opening reception will be held on the first day of the exhibit from 2–3 p.m. to celebrate the artists’ achievements.

“This is a wonderful honor for each of our students,” Ruppert said.

The Hunterdon Art Museum is located at 7 Lower Center St. in Clinton, N.J., and is open Wednesday–Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
