Have you ever wanted to be an astronaut and explore space? Well, you’re in luck. As of April 1, 2025 Del Val has the opportunity to apply for a grant to build the first campus on Mars, and I need you to sign the application!
This new campus will provide students and educators taste of what it is like to be an astronaut.
Students have shared their thoughts and opinions on this incredible feat in Del Val history. Emmit Paulus, a junior at Del Val, is elated about this new campus being built.
“I’ve always wanted to be close with the stars and study them for what they truly are,” Paulus said.
With this new addition, interest in astronomy classes at Del Val have “skyrocketed” in popularity. You need to act now if you want a chance to be enrolled for next year. Next year, students will begin taking rides in spaceships to the new campus. At the Mars campus, students can see the stars up close.
New classes on the Mars campus would include planetary studies, astronomy, black hole exploration and more electives to come.
“The views from inside the school will be like no other,” sophomore Brian Meehan said. “I am truly blown away by all the things I will get to experience here.”
The new campus is great for upcoming students and teachers looking to experience new things. Students will learn more about space in a brand-new, interactive way. In the years to come, this campus will grow into something remarkable, and students at Del Val should support this eventful milestone in school history.
