Bamboo House, the crown jewel of Thai and Japanese cuisine in Frenchtown, opened in 2010 and has built a reputation for hard work and excellence.
The menu consists of a wide variety of options, ranging from sushi rolls, rice dishes, soups, vegetarian specials, along with certain hot and spicy variations. This versatility allows nearly everyone to leave Bamboo House with a fond memories.
“The Dynamite Roll is definitely the best, but if that’s not for you I would also recommend the Pad Thai, a traditional dish from Thailand,” said sophomore Terry Ni, son of owner Cara Lin.
Bamboo House has numerous loyal customers and is well-known in the Hunterdon County area. This success has culminated in an impressive 4.7 out of 5 stars on Google reviews. Further validating this positive feedback is the fact that 682 people left reviews, making it one of the most reviewed restaurants in the entire town. Bamboo House has become a marquee restaurant to visitors and locals alike.
Another endearing quality of Bamboo House is the carbonated Hata drinks. They come in five different exotic flavors and are unlike any mainstream sodas in the area. From the second you open them, which releases a marble into the glass bottle, you can tell they’re unique beverages.
“It’s definitely the most busy on Friday or Saturday, and I would highly suggest you make a reservation,” said Ni. “Other days are usually not as busy, and the only day we are closed is Monday.“
If you live in the area or are just looking for something to eat, make sure to visit Bamboo House for good food, good drinks and a good time.
