Del Val’s winter pep rally and 2025 Gold Rush raise school spirit

On Jan. 8, Del Val competed against North Hunterdon in the annual Gold Rush.

After a difficult, but close, match for Del Val, they lost to North Hunterdon, 34 – 33.

Alyssa Deets is a freshman at Del Val, and this is her first year on "The Delphi." She is also on the field hockey team.

Ella Genovese, Managing Editor

Ella Genovese is a sophomore at Del Val. This is her second year writing for The Delphi. She is the Managing and Sports Editor for this year. She also is a stage manager for this year's fall play and enjoys being involved in the theater department. In her free time, Ella likes to swim, read, write and listen to music.

Illy Mavraj is a freshman at Del Val and this is her first year reporting for "The Delphi." She also does cheerleading.

Lhiam Murphy is a sophomore at Del Val and this is his first year on "The Delphi." In his free time, he plays football.

Lillyana is a sophomore at Del Val and she is the Photo Editor for The Delphi. Lillyana is also a competitive gymnast who loves to write and take pictures in her free time.

Neha is a junior at Del Val and is the Video Editor for The Delphi. She is apart of the Biomedical Science Academy, Key Club and Peer Leaders. In her free time, she loves to play sports and watch TV shows.

Gianna is a junior at Del Val and this is her third year working on The Delphi, now as the Editor-in-chief. In her free time, Gianna enjoys baking, reading and listening to music, especially Taylor Swift. In addition to "The Delphi," Gianna is apart of Quill and Scroll, Model UN, Peer Leaders, National Honors Society and Habitat for Humanity.
