The Little York, a local restaurant in Milford, New Jersey has recently been showered with a series of awards for Hunterdon County restaurants: Best Steak, Best Burger and Best Wings. It has received numerous positive reviews online, making it a popular choice for diners.
So, does it live up to the hype?
In order to find out, I visited the restaurant and ordered a variety of different items from the menu.
First off, I ordered both the Garlic Parmesan wings and the Little York wings. The Garlic Parmesan wings were savory, with a blend of different flavors. The garlic and parmesan balanced perfectly, making it a great combination. I would rate The Garlic Parmesan wings a 9/10. The Little York wings had a slightly spicy, but sweet sauce. I rate them a 10/10 because of their unique and delicious flavor.

Next, I ordered the Little York salad. The salad tasted good and included a variety of different elements. The croutons added a nice crunch to the salad as well, making it a good add-on to any meal. However, it lacked some uniqueness compared to other salads, so I rate it a 8/10.
For my main dish, I ordered the fish tacos. The tacos had multiple different ingredients, such as cabbage, a lime sauce and salsa; however, the cod slightly overpowered some of the other flavors. The fries were crispy and well-seasoned, making the dish an 8/10 overall.
For dessert, I ordered the Tres Leches cake with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. The cake was moist and very sweet. It was a great option for dessert. Not only was the cake itself great, but so were both the sauce and topping. I would rate the cake a 10/10.

The restaurant had good food as well as excellent service. My food came out quickly and the server was very friendly.
In addition, its decorations and lighting created a cozy atmosphere. The restaurant had uniquely designed table-tops that featured different maps and pictures.
The Little York’s combination of great food and a warm atmosphere made my experience very positive and I would rate the restaurant a 9.5/1o.
