“The Conjuring: Last Rites” is a gripping and suspenseful film that is perfect for Halloween night.

This movie gives a perfect mix of mystery and fear. For those interested in paranormal activity, this movie is perfect. Some scenes involved vomiting glass, a demon appearing with an ultimate scare and a family being haunted by a dark presence that grows stronger each night.

Fans of The Conjuring universe shared their feelings towards the new movie. 

“I thought ‘Last Rites’ was really good,” freshman Kayla Nabozny said. “I thought that some of the other movies were better, but I really enjoyed going to watch it. I thought it was pretty scary, but like I said, I thought some of the movies were better.” 

The theme throughout the movie is dark and intense, but it also highlights the struggle between faith and evil.

“I thought it was very interesting,” freshman Amelia Schaefer said. “Compared to the newest movie, I think the rest are better but I feel like the newest one had the best way to end the story.”
