Starting in early September, Carolyn Wolsiefer and Kristen Lockett opened up Math Help for students of all levels. This program runs every other Wednesday night on Google Meet.
Emails are sent out ahead of time with the Math Help schedule. With the SATs coming up for most students, the popularity of this program has grown more as many students are studying in preparation.
Ryan Murphy, supervisor of math, oversees Math Help. He also urges students to come to him with any questions.
“If anyone is interested, almost certainly they’ll get immediate help,” said Murphy.
Students do not need to worry about whether or not Ms. Wolsiefer and Ms. Lockett can help with their math class. They teach first and second year courses, however they’re both well-versed in many forms of math up until light calculus and partially statistics.
The Math Help program will continue for upcoming years. Students preparing for tests, such as SATs, or anyone in need of some extra math should check their emails for details on the next session.
