Del Val to host logistic and supply chain Career Talk Tuesday

Come have a terrific time by participating in Career Talk Tuesday. Kristina Sterbenc, Del Val’s supervisor of counseling, is hosting this in-house field trip on Feb. 25 during block 2B in the Commons.

The theme of the upcoming Career Talk Tuesday is “Logistic and Supply Chain Management.” This talk is recommended for students who want to someday have a career related to statistics, economics or business. It will take place during second block, on Feb. 25 in the Commons.

There will be three volunteer speakers with different jobs: Greg Bridge from Johanna Foods, Wendy Fraguela from Ferring Pharma and Kevin Bailey from CJ Logistics.

One part of the talk is supply chain. Students will learn about the importance of connections between businesses.

They will also learn about logistics. Logistics refers to getting what a business is selling from one place to another. For example, hiring a company to take a package to its destination.

This career talk is highly recommended for students who want to be business owners in the future. Any students who filled out and handed their permission slips are welcome to enjoy the event in the Commons on Tuesday.

Yulissa is a Freshman at Del Val and is looking forward to learn and expand her learning at Del Val. Yulissa moved to Holland two years ago from Flemington, New Jersey. She is a quiet girl when she does not know people but loves spending times with friends. Out of school, she loves reading novels, writing, bike riding and painting. Her favorite thing is spending time at the beach.
