An hour before the ball dropped, fans of the show Impractical Jokers heard devastating news from their nightmares: Joe Gatto is leaving. 

Joe Gatto was one of four hosts, alongside his lifelong best friends, on the show Impractical Jokers. He was known for his ability to do almost any task or withstand any taunt his friends would give him, while feeling little to no embarrassment. 

After a decade of the show, Joe Gatto decided his time hosting had to come to an end. He opened up to his fans on Instagram that he and his wife, Bessy, are seperating: “I need to focus on being the best father and co-parent to our two incredible kids.”

Joe continued to thank his fans and the support he has received over the years, saying, “Seeing you laugh has been my own medicine…”

On multiple platforms, Impractical fans shared their sadness and support for Joe, making him trend on Twitter and flood the For You Page of many on Tik Tok. 

The other Jokers also posted on Instagram, in a joint response, saying their goodbyes to Joe: “we’ll get back to making a new chapter of Impractical Jokers in January.”

As a fan of Impractical Jokers, I am upset by Joe’s departure but only wish him the best for the future and can’t wait to continue supporting him!
