Delaware Valley Lady Terriers opens season with a win
On Dec. 19, Delaware Valley Lady Terrier Basketball opened its season with a 45-28 win against Robinsville.
Sophmore Elana Falkenstein led the Terriers with 18 points, with freshman Maggie Simpson trailing behind with eight points and senior Carly Christie putting up seven.
Throughout all four quarters, each player showed effort and hustle, and new head coach, Benjemin Ibach, couldn’t be more proud.
“We won the game with our energy and determination. The hustle every girl had allowed us to get easy steals and run offenses to put points on the board,” said Ibach.
As the season progresses, Ibach is focused on improving, even the little things.
“I want to take one game at a time, working on fixing things we did not do well and strengthening our weaknesses,” said Ibach.
With such a successful season opener, Lady Terries basketball is back in action, better than ever.
