Buddies vs. Unified: a spook-tacular soccer showdown

On Oct. 31, Del Val’s Buddies program hosted their annual Halloween soccer match. The Buddies program matches differently abled students with other peers to participate in a variety of activities.

This year’s soccer game took place at 1:30 p.m. on the field hockey field. Teachers brought out their classes to cheer on the sidelines and celebrate the students.

Keep an eye out for the Buddies’s basketball season this winter, sign ups to come, and the Holiday Bazaar in Dec.

Gianna is a junior at Del Val and this is her third year working on "The Delphi," now as the Editor-in-chief. In her free time, Gianna enjoys baking, reading and listening to music, especially Taylor Swift. In addition to "The Delphi," Gianna is apart of Quill and Scroll, Model UN, Peer Leaders and Habitat for Humanity.

Neha Sethi, Video Editor

Neha is a junior at Del Val and is the Video Editor for "The Delphi." She is apart of the Biomedical Science Academy, Key Club and Peer Leaders. In her free time, she loves to play sports and watch TV shows.

Liam Boschen, Reporter

Liam Boschen is a his freshman at Del Val and this is his first year writing for "The Delphi." Liam enjoys playing football and baseball. He also enjoys listening to music. Liam looks forward to trying to achieve good reporting skills and write good articles for "The Delphi."

Alyssa Deets, Reporter

Alyssa Deets is a freshman at Del Val, and this is her first year on "The Delphi." She is also on the field hockey team.

AJ Wedronek, Reporter

AJ Wedronek is a freshman at Del Val. They love to read and write, and this is their first year writing for “The Delphi.” Their favorite hobby is creating things, whether it be fantasy worlds or fan art, and they have a large collection of books, including high fantasy, romance, historical fiction and manga. AJ aspires to one day become an author of their own fantasy series.

Finley Busch, Reporter

Finley Busch is a freshman at Del Val. This is her first year on “The Delphi.” She loves to play volleyball and lacrosse.

Illy Mavraj, Reporter

Illy Mavraj is a freshman at Del Val and this is her first year reporting for "The Delphi." She also does cheerleading.

Levi Buczkowski, Reporter

Levi Buczkowski is a freshman at Del Val. This is his first year writing for "The Delphi." He also participates in the school’s concert band. In his spare time, he loves to read, write, play his trombone and learn to play the guitar. He is also a huge fan of sci-fi entertainment.
