Linkin Park announced an enormous 50+ show tour spanning four continents in support for its eighth studio album, “From Zero,” beginning in Jan. 2025 in Mexico City. This will be a continuation of its 2024 tour, which started in September.
After the death of co-lead vocalist Chester Bennington in July 2017, Linkin Park went on an indefinite hiatus, while releasing various singles throughout the years.
However, on Sept. 5, after a nearly seven-year-long break, Linkin Park announced its new drummer and lead singer, Colin Brittain and Emily Armstrong, respectively, along with the release date of “From Zero.”
The album received mostly positive reviews, and the band is now preparing for the upcoming world tour.
The first concert is on Jan. 31, 2025, in Mexico City, Mexico, and the last show will take place on Nov. 15, 2025, in Porto Alegre, Brazil.
Linkin Park will also be performing near and in New Jersey, with a show in Brooklyn, NYC on July 29, 2025, a show in Newark, NJ on Aug. 3, 2025 and a show in Philadelphia, PA on Aug. 16, 2025.
Linkin Park will perform with a variety of opening acts on select dates, from rock and metal bands to hip hop and pop artists.
The opening acts include Queens of the Stone Age, an American rock band, Spiritbox, a Canadian heavy metal band, AFI, an American rock band, Architects, a British metalcore band, grandson, an American-Canadian hip hop artist, Jean Dawson, a Mexican-American experimental pop musician, JPEGMAFIA, an American rapper, and PVRIS, an American pop rock band.
Emily Armstrong, the new lead singer, will impact the band’s live sound. Compared to Bennington’s vocals, her’s are more raw and growly. She sings Linkin Park’s songs truthfully but also adds her own additions to them, and she also shares a similar energy that Bennington had on stage.
Despite their differences, Armstrong will be able to captivate Linkin Park’s live audience during their new tour.
