The MLB championship series has come to a close, and the table is set for the World Series.
The teams that will be fighting for the right to be the World Champions are the Diamondbacks and the Rangers.
The Diamondbacks would enter the season with one in 17,000 odds to win the World Series, and now they are playing in the game, while the Rangers entered with one in 4,500 odds to win.
The Diamondbacks finished their season with an 84-78 record and finished second in the NL West. They swept the Brewers in the wild card round and swept the Dodgers to in the NLDS to move on to the NLCS. The Diamondbacks would end up beating the Phillies in seven games. The Diamondbacks are lead by Corbin Carrol and Christian Walker.
The Rangers went 90-72 and finished second in the AL West, finishing just behind the Astros. They would beat the Rays in the wild card round 2-0 and then the Orioles 3-0 in the divisional series. They would then move on to play the Astros and beat them in seven games.
The Rangers have star players like Corey Seagar, Marcus Semien, Adolis Garcia, Will Smith and Nathan Eovaldi.
