Del Val’s Buddies program and Unified Soccer team met on the soccer field for a Halloween-themed soccer game to celebrate the end of the season. The Delphi was on the scene to cover all of the action and to learn more about these programs and this annual event.

Gianna Roberts, Editor-in-chief
Gianna is a senior at Del Val and this is her fourth and final year working on The Delphi, now as the Editor-in-chief. In her free time, Gianna enjoys baking, reading and listening to music, especially Taylor Swift. In addition to The Delphi, Gianna is a part of Quill and Scroll, Model UN, National Honors Society and Habitat for Humanity.
Riley Nelson, Reporter
Riley Nelson is a freshman and it’s her first year working for The Delphi. She enjoys playing on the Del Val girls soccer team. In her free time Riley plays travel soccer, reads and spends time with friends.
Agnes Hughes, Reporter
Agnes Hughes is a freshman, and this is her first year in The Delphi program. Agnes is in concert band, and in her free time she practices bass guitar. One of Agnes’ favorite books is “The Body” by Stephen King, along with the movie based on the book, Stand by Me. Agnes is happy when her cats are with her and she gets to spend time with them. Lastly, some of her favorite artists are Nirvana and The Neighborhood.

Austyn Hackmann, the assistant news editor, is a sophomore at Del Val, and this is her second year working on The Delphi.
Alex Roberts, Reporter
Alex Roberts is a freshman reporter on The Delphi who wants to follow in his sister’s footsteps. He enjoys golfing and improving his cooking skills at home and is planning to join the golf team in the spring.
Mason Patkochis, Reporter
Mason Patkochis is a freshman at Del Val. This is his first year on The Delphi. He plays football for the Terriers and also enjoys playing lacrosse and basketball. Mason is also currently in the Biomedical Science Academy.
Doris Cruz Alvarado, Assistant Opinion Editor
Doris is a junior at Del Val and she is the assistant opinion editor for The Delphi. In her free time, she likes to read and paint. At school, Doris participates in International club, Environmental club, and BC2M club.
Ellie Lyons, Opinion Editor
Ellie Lyons is a junior at Del Val. This is her third year writing for The Delphi, and she is the Opinion Editor. Ellie plays softball for Del Val and enjoys reading in her free time. She hopes to improve her editorial and leadership skills this school year.
Abby Eckert, Executive Editor
Abby Eckert is a senior and this is her third year working for The Delphi. She is president of Quill & Scroll Honor Society and parliamentarian for the National Honors Society. In her free time, she likes to hang out with her friends, play field hockey, volunteer for Habitat for Humanity, listen to music and paint. In the future, she hopes to pursue a career as a crime scene investigator.
Neha Sethi, Managing Editor
Neha is a senior at Del Val and is a Managing Editor and the Multimedia Editor for The Delphi. She is apart of the Biomedical Science Academy, Business Academy, Key Club and Peer Leaders. In her free time, she loves to play sports and watch TV shows.
Maggie Davis, Managing Editor
Maggie Davis is currently a senior at Del Val and a fourth year writer for The Delphi. She plays lacrosse for Del Val as well as basketball. Maggie spends almost all of her free time on a lacrosse field and is committed to Rowan University’s women’s lacrosse team.

Audrey Burns is a freshman at Del Val. This is her first year on The Delphi. She is also a member of the Book Club and Buddies Unified.
