The Del Val Football team is ready for the 2021 season.

Joe Flynn, Sports Editor

The Terriers are back for the 2021 season and ready to take on their opponents.

The Terriers are used to winning seasons, and this season is no different. Coming off a season that was disrupted by COVID-19, the Terriers are committed to bringing home a conference championship.

The Terriers are facing at least 9 schools and maybe more if they make the playoffs. Del Val played Middlesex last week and the Terriers won 48-14, so I will exclude them from the schedule.

Here’s the Varsity schedule:

On September 10th Del Val will have an away game facing North Plainfield at 7 p.m.

On September 17th Del Val faces off against our rival Voorhees at their field at 7 p.m.

On September 24th Del Val returns to their home field against Governor Livingston at 7 p.m.

On October 1st Del Val faces our rival Bernards at home at 7 p.m.

On October 8th Del Val goes back on the road to face Arthur L. Johnson at 7 p.m.

On October 16th Del Val (still on the road) faces off against Hillside at 1 p.m.

On October 22nd Del Val returns home to face Abraham Clark at 7 p.m.

On October 29th Del Val goes back on the road to face St. Thomas Aquinas in their last regular season game at 7 p.m.

If the Terriers make it to the playoffs, the first round will be held on November 5/6.

If they advance to the second round, the game will be held on November 12/13.

If they make it all the way to the Sectional Championship game, it will be held on November 19/20.

The Del Val staff and students are very excited and hopeful for the season.
