“The Delphi” is set to release its special “Newsies” edition print issue at this year’s winter musical performances.

Now is the time to seize the day! The “Newsies” cast is finally ready to show the world its talent and what it has been working on for three months.

Director Clinton Ambs is excited to see this cast come together to create an amazing show that gets the community talking about “Newsies” for months to come.

“I think there is a nugget of something in just about every scene that the audience will love,” said Ambs. “Every scene has multiple characters working together, interacting with each other, and overcoming conflicts with one another.”

Newsies will premiere Feb. 29 (Senior Preview) at 7 p.m., followed by performances on March 1 at 7 p.m., March 2 7 p.m., March 8 at 7 p.m. and March 9 at 2 and 7 p.m.

Tickets will be sold for $16 online here and at the door. Unlike the fall play, seats are assigned for the musical, so be sure to buy them in advance to secure your seat.

The audience will also be able to send candy grams and flowers to the cast in the show.

“The Delphi” will be handing out special edition “Newsies” newspapers at all shows and will be accepting donations, so be on the lookout!

Be sure to check out the musical and pick up a “Newsies” edition of the newspaper to support local theater and journalism.
