Delaware Valley Football is ready to take on the turf for the 2026 season starting this Thursday, Aug. 27 against North Hunterdon in Week Zero.
Kickoff for the game will be at 6 p.m. on the DVRHS turf field.
Ticket prices will be $4 for adults, $3 for students, and free for senior citizens and children under the age of 5. Tickets are cash only.
The Dawg Pound will meet at 5:30 p.m. to paint up in the student parking lot.
The Dawg Pound is Del Val’s student section. Their purpose is to cheer on Del Val through the up and down moments, supporting the team while adhering to the sportsmanship expectations of the NJSIAA.
The Dawg Pound theme for this game will be blue and gold, and fans are asked to pack the pound in your Del Val attire. You can find the Dawg Pound, and important game information such as further theme information on their Instagram, @dv_dawgpound.
Del Val will be starting the season with a new quarterback this season, Chase Kraucheunas.
“The team is feeling great about playing North, and we can’t wait to get back out under the lights,” Kraucheunas said. “We have been working hard all summer long so now it’s time to just put it all together and show it out on the field.”
In addition to the game, Del Val apparel will be sold, including sweatshirts, t-shirts, sweatpants, gear, and more. Fans can show their support by grabbing some Del Val swag before the Terriers kick off another season of varsity football.
“We have been looking forward to Thursday for forever and just ready to get back out there and give it our all and come out 1-0,” Kraucheunas said.
