As the morning sun rises, a brave and courageous team of heroes prepare to fight off any evil that may come Del Val’s way. These heroes are known as the DV Superpups. They are a group of extraordinary dogs dedicated to helping students and staff with their unique pup-powers.
The DV Superpups are led by Milo the Mind Reader, who is an in-house hero. Milo, a golden retriever, can detect negative thoughts in a student’s mind with his monocle and replace them with uplifting motivation.
An investigation conducted by The Delphi Detectives confirmed that his secret lair is located in the guidance office.
“It’s definitely 100% in the counselors’ office,” Julia Hirsch, one of the detectives, said. “I saw it with my own eyes. It looked pretty cozy.”
From his hideout, Milo watches for incoming danger. He checks for signs of students in distress, heartache or fear. When he senses trouble arising, Milo doesn’t hesitate to call for reinforcements.

His team consists of two other powerful pups: Alee, a Chiweenie, the stealthiest of them all, and Marley, a golden retriever, courageous and brave.
“Alee helped me when I was feeling anxious,” junior Maddie Zepeda said. “She may be tiny on the outside, but her powers are unmatched.”
With her invisibility cloak, Alee can quickly teleport to any student who needs help without being spotted. One touch and anyone struggling feels better in no time.
“Alee and all the Superpups deserve a belly rub and a treat for their amazing work,” Zepeda said.
Marley, also known as the Mighty M, has super strength to combat any negative self-talk. With these powers, Marley can uplift everyone who feels defeated.
“On behalf of the entire school, we’re so grateful for their services,” media specialist Tracy Miceli said. “Del Val wouldn’t be the same without them.”
As the sun sets on the horizon, a hero’s job is never done. Del Val can rest peacefully knowing all is safe for another day thanks to the DV Superpups.
