Seniors Izzy Diem and Jordyn Zollinger are being published Rowan University’s high school photography contest magazine, Introducing, Volume Two.

This is the first time photography students have submitted pictures to the contest. These students beat out students from not only other states, but other countries as well.
“I didn’t really know that I was going to get picked by Rowan, and it kinda caught me by surprise,” Diem said.
Zollinger was also excited by this important milestone.
“I’ve always loved photography and it feels really rewarding to see my work getting published and recognized, especially in something big like this,” Zollinger said.
Zollinger’s love for photography will not end after she graduates from Del Val.
“I plan on continuing photography in college and after, so getting published like this feels like a big step towards those goals.” Zollinger said.
Diem had other plans for her future until her photo was published.
“I didn’t really plan on taking my photography career any further than what it already is, but after getting picked and entered for multiple contests, I think I might continue it,” Diem said. “I love taking photos and making people feel emotion through my photos, which is really special to me.”
