‘The Delphi’ is traveling back to Oct. 8, 1987 for this year’s first Throwback Thursday.

In this issue, Lisa Szumski shared her realistic take on the upcoming school year.

It’s interesting to see how her perspective isn’t much different than the one that the students possess today.

Like Szumski says, appreciate these eventful years of your life, and make today a great day.

In her spare time, she enjoys rewatching "Modern Family", carrying her dog Stewie Bob on his ‘walks’ and spending time at LBI. Before she was a student at Del Val, she attended Kingwood Township School.

Dani Newman is currently attending Del Val as a freshman and is the new Social Media Editor for "The Delphi." Dani plays volleyball and hopes to continue playing sports later in the year. When Dani is not playing volleyball she is hanging out with friends or family. As Dani continues with her exciting year, she hopes to explore her passion in writing.
